Joey Green Band At Reigen-Farewell Vienna!

This concert at Reigen will be Joey Green Band’s final public concert in Austria.

After 19 years in Austria, on June 27th, Joey Green will relocate back to New York City.

Joey Green formed his first band with high school buddies when he was 16 years-old. The band was called “OZ” and performed original music as well as music from Led Zeppelin, Kansas, Neil Young, Blue Oyster Cult, The Allman Brothers and Bruce Springsteen.

For the last 2 years, Joey Green has been focusing 100% of artistic energy on an original 70’s style rock music format.

This “Farewell Concert” will be the culmination of that process here in Vienna.

“Songwriting is a craft. For me, it’s best to start with an idea that has been sparked by some emotional feeling, experience or event. I enjoy writing about the ups and downs of life. The joy and tragedy of it. I want to reflect on this experience for as long as possible.”

Joey Green Band will perform two sets of mostly original, 1970’s style, driving, banging, brooding rock compositions including, “Trumpty Dumpty,” “Other Side Of A Dream”, “Heartbroke Again”, “Love, Love, Love” and his latest, “Blood Is Thicker Than Water”.

With Joey Green on vocals/keyboards, Lukas Vendl on guitar, Tommy Böröcz on drums, Niko Zeichmann on bass/vocals, Mona Gusterer on vocals and Michel Nahabedian on Saxophone.
